Borrowed and Stolen Goods: Coffee Concert V

It has been said that good artists borrow but great artists steal. We’ll explore that concept (and find out who actually said it) at our final Coffee Concert. Featuring a suite from West Side Story (borrowed straight from Shakespeare!), two songs by Brahms (stolen from himself), and a piece by Mozart (or was it Haydn?), this will be a fun, uplifting concert, perfect for the entire family!

Brahms: 2 Gesänge, Op.91 for voice, viola, and piano
Bernstein, arr. Gale: West Side Story Suite for brass quintet
Mozart (or Haydn): “Toy” Symphony
Plus, a special appearance by an Academy ensemble!
