Russian Maestro Victor Yampolsky returns to Wintergreen to lead the orchestra in Haydn’s final symphony. Come hear all of the clever surprises that Haydn had up his sleeve, and marvel at the great Classical jokester’s ability to combine humor with solemnity. Plus, in music by Martin and Vaughan Williams, we have solo turns for 11 instruments! What a perfect way to celebrate the talents of our Wintergreen Festival Artists!

With a full complement of professional musicians from around the country, the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra presents exciting concerts throughout the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival. These performances anchor each weekend's activities and feature an inspiring mix of standards and newly composed works. World renowned guest artists, conductors, and composers come to the mountain each year to perform with the stellar musicians of the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra.

Join us 45 minutes before each performance for a pre-concert discussion.
